> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://docs.pipeshub.com/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Voyage AI > Configure PipesHub to use Voyage AI embedding models # Voyage AI Embeddings Configuration Voyage AI Embeddings Configuration Interface *The Voyage AI embeddings configuration screen in PipesHub where you'll enter your API Key and Model Name* PipesHub allows you to integrate with Voyage AI's embedding models to enable vector search, semantic similarity, and document retrieval in your workspace. Voyage AI specialises in high-performance retrieval embeddings, consistently ranking at the top of embedding benchmarks. ## Required Fields ### API Key \* The API Key is required to authenticate your requests to Voyage AI's services. **How to obtain an API Key:** 1. Log in to the [Voyage AI Platform](https://www.voyageai.com/) 2. Navigate to the API Keys section in your dashboard 3. Create a new API key 4. Copy the generated API key **Security Note:** Your API key should be kept secure and never shared publicly. PipesHub securely stores your API key and uses it only for authenticating requests to Voyage AI. ### Model Name \* The Model Name field defines which Voyage AI embedding model you want to use with PipesHub. **Available Voyage AI embedding models:** * `voyage-3.5` - Voyage AI's latest general-purpose embedding model with strong retrieval performance **How to choose a model:** * For most retrieval use cases, select `voyage-3.5` * Check Voyage AI's [model documentation](https://docs.voyageai.com/docs/embeddings) for the most up-to-date options ## Configuration Steps As shown in the image above: 1. Click **Configure** on the Voyage AI provider card 2. Enter your Voyage AI API Key in the designated field (marked with \*) 3. Specify your desired Model Name (marked with \*) 4. Click **Add Model** to save and validate your credentials > Both the API Key and Model Name are required fields to successfully configure Voyage AI embedding integration. ## Usage Considerations * API usage will count against your Voyage AI account's quota and billing * Different models have different pricing — check Voyage AI's pricing page for details * Voyage AI models are optimised specifically for retrieval tasks and consistently rank highly on embedding benchmarks ## Troubleshooting * If you encounter authentication errors, verify your API key is correct and has not expired * Ensure your Voyage AI account has billing set up if you are on a paid tier * Check that the model name is spelled correctly and matches Voyage AI's naming conventions For additional support, refer to the [Voyage AI documentation](https://docs.voyageai.com/) or contact PipesHub support.
